Downtown Irish Club Parade
The Downtown Irish Club’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin in the Marigny and wind its way through the French Quarter and Warehouse District, celebrating 50 years of Irish pride, music, and tradition.
Starting Location:
Marigny Brasserie (Frenchmen Street)
The parade will proceed along Frenchmen Street to Balcony Music Club – BMC, then turn left onto Esplanade Avenue and right onto South Peters Street.
We will pause in historic Jackson Square for the official presentation of our Grand Marshal, King, and Queen. While in the Square, the parade will also make a celebratory stop at the Corner Oyster House.
The procession will then continue down Decatur Street with a stop at Ryan’s Irish Pub before proceeding toward the Warehouse District.
From Decatur, the parade will proceed to Magazine Street and turn left onto Gravier Street, stopping at The Little Bar on Gravier.
The final leg of the parade continues with a right turn onto Tchoupitoulas Street, concluding at Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar for our closing celebration.
